While I focus on you and the heart of the day, a second photographer captures the moments unfolding around you — the quiet emotions, different angles, and the in-between moments you may never even realize are happening.

    From multiple perspectives during your ceremony, to candid reactions from family and friends, to coverage that allows your day to flow without feeling rushed, a second photographer creates space for your story to be documented with depth and care. It’s not about more photos — it’s about a more complete, meaningful narrative of your day.

What’s in your camera bag?

I currently shoot with a Canon R6 MKII & a Canon R6. My go-to lenses are my Canon RF 28-70mm, 85mm + 35mm! Sometimes I’ll whip out my 16mm for fun dance floor shots!

I always carry two cameras on your wedding day just in case and shoot on dual SD cards so that everything is always backed up!

How long have you been a photographer?

I've been shooting for over 9 years now! I started taking pictures as a way to create content for my church, but decided to launch SMC in 2020 when the world was shut down as a way to stay creative! I never imagined SMC would be what it is today, but every session is a joy and a honor!

Can we meet before we book?
